Arranging a Middle-Eastern delegation’s multi-stop roadshow
We were tasked at short notice with arranging a multi-sector tour of South and Central America for a Middle-Eastern government delegation. The client opted to charter because they wanted to complete the nine-stop tour of official visits as quickly as possible, whilst avoiding busy major airports and disrupted commercial flights during the Covid-19 pandemic.
With up to 12 passengers travelling on different sectors and potential obstacles caused by ever-changing travel restrictions, we had to carefully plan the itinerary to maximise the delegates’ time on the ground in each destination and allow for last-minute schedule changes.
Our Solution
Route: Saudi Arabia > Gran Canaria (fuel stop and crew change) > Argentina > Mexico > Costa Rica > Jamaica > Dominican Republic (two stops) > Morocco > Kuwait > Saudi Arabia
Aircraft: Bombardier Global 6000
We sourced a Bombardier Global 6000 business jet, whose onboard Wi-Fi and meeting facilities would help the group to maximise productivity whilst in the air. We ensured each flight was scheduled to get the most out of the time zone with flexibility for sudden route alterations, finalising a full contingency plan that could be immediately actioned if new travel restrictions were announced during the trip.
